Andrea's love of nature is the inspiration for her art. Although her artwork encompasses numerous design elements, animals and marine life in decorative settings are recurrent themes.

Originally trained as an architect with a degree from UC Berkeley, Andrea obtained a second degree in illustration from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Her early career consisted of illustrating children's books and her clients included the Monterey Bay Aquarium, National Wildlife Federation and the National Geographic Society.

Since making her art available for licensing, Andrea's designs have appeared on numerous products including stationery, shower curtains, dinnerware, garden flags, kitchen textiles, rugs and other creative items.

Andrea lives in Northern California with her husband and two young sons.
